The whole family took a road trip across Texas to New Mexico, leaving Christmas day 2016.
I watched my father work tirelessly throughout my life. He was a devoted family man, always willing to lend a hand when someone needed a porch built or something fixed. His dream was to buy an RV and travel after retirement. Sadly, shortly after retiring, he was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Although he did get his RV, he never had the chance to travel as much as he had hoped.
My dad didn’t care about checking off states or collecting passport stamps — he simply loved the beauty of nature and sharing those experiences with his wife and family.
Too many people spend their lives working hard, always waiting for the “right time” to take that dream trip or pursue what they've always wanted. Don’t wait. Start planning and start living the Adventure Now.
